Ferrule fittings, also called compression fittings, are mechanical connectors used to join tubes in fluid systems. They provide a metal-to-metal seal using one or two ferrule rings compressed between a nut and the fitting body.
When properly installed, ferrule fittings offer leak-tight, high-pressure, and corrosion-resistant performance without welding or threading the tube.
Ferrule fittings function using a three-part mechanism:
When the nut is tightened, the front ferrule creates the seal while the back ferrule grips the tube. This dual action ensures vibration resistance and prevents tube blowout.
